Terms of Service

Scope of Services
We specialize in fire escape inspections, certifications, repairs, and new installations. All services will be provided according to applicable building codes, state laws, and safety regulations.
 

Inspections & Certifications

1. All inspections are visual unless otherwise stated.
2. Certifications are issued only if the fire escape meets safety standards or after required repairs are completed.
3. Certification reports are valid for five (5) years, unless otherwise specified by local law.

Repairs & Installations
 

• All repair and installation work is based on written estimates approved by the Client.
• Unforeseen conditions discovered during work may require additional services, which will be communicated before proceeding.
• The Client is responsible for timely access to the property for completion of work.

Payment Terms

• Payment is due as outlined in the invoice.
• Late payments may be subject to additional fees.
• Inspections and certifications must be paid in full before the release of reports or letters.

No Returns or Refunds
Due to the nature of our services (inspections, certifications, and custom repairs/installations), all sales are final. No returns or refunds will be issued once work has been performed.
 

Liability

• We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, deterioration, or structural defects not visible during inspection.
• The Client is responsible for ongoing maintenance of the fire escape after certification.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, A+ Fire Escape Repair, Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Scheduling & Cancellations

• Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
• If you need to reschedule, at least 48 hours’ notice is required.
• Missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and applicable federal laws.
 

Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised date.
